I’ve posted this Forensic Science International article –
as well as my Letter To The Editor (“review”) regarding same –
in PDF file format.

CHAS NOTE:
Before clicking on the ARTICLE’s link, I strongly suggest that you click on the link to my PUBLISHED
“Letter to the Editor of Forensic Science International” related to this article.
The REPLY from one of the Article Authors (Jauchem) is included in that file
,
as is my very brief “review” of Jauchem’s evasion of my letter’s issues.

The “In Press – Corrected Proof” version of my Letter to the Editor – as well as that version of the Authors’ Reply to my letter – were available on Forensic Science International’s website as of January 18, 2007. And, those versions were posted here in February, 2007.
My letter was finally (physically) published in May, 2007 – as was Jauchem’s reply. But, I had to pay $30 to obtain the PUBLISHED version of my own letter! That document did not include an Article Author’s REPLY page.
Since there is no way in HELL that I’m going to pay another $30 to buy the published version of an Article Author’s reply, I have posted the “Article In Press” version of Jauchem’s reply. There is no reason to suspect that his reply would have been changed in any way prior to publication.
My REVIEW of Jauchem’s REPLY is included in this PDF document!
The PUBLISHED version of my letter (with Jauchem’s Reply and my Review of same) was posted here in June, 2007.

AFTER you’ve read that Letter to the Editor/Author Reply/Reply Review file,
you’ll be better able to recognize the
TRUE IMPORTANCE of this study’s findings!
Furthermore, you’ll be able to AVOID being sucked-into the very serious
“misinterpretation” & “misrepresentation” PITFALLS encouraged by this study report’s wording!
