Although it isn’t accurately titled (at this posting), here is a link to the FIRST “TASER BLOG” I ever learned of:

Many, MANY, other Taser- and Restraint-Related Blog Sites can be found on the Internet.
And, undoubtedly, their number will continue to GROW in 2008!
After all, few – if ANY – Government or Service “officials” are YET willing to implement
PROTOCOLS VITAL to PREVENTING MORE TASER-RELATED DEATHS!

What are those VITAL PROTOCOLS?

• A Taser or Stun Device shall ONLY be used against someone who is CLEARLY demonstrating an
  IMMEDIATE and LETHAL THREAT to himself or others.

• The amount of time any single Taser or Stun Device electrical discharge is administered to a subject
  MAY NOT EXCEED FIVE SECONDS!

• If ONE electrical discharge from a Taser or Stun Device fails to
  “incapacitate” the subject long enough to apply RESTRAINT, only
  ONE MORE discharge from a Taser or Stun Device may be employed.

• After employment of a Taser or Stun Device (whether or NOT one or two discharges have
  successfully “incapacitated” the subject), FORCEFUL-PRONE-RESTRAINT may
  ONLY be employed against the subject for the length of time that
  THE RESTRAINING OFFICER can HOLD HER/HIS BREATH!

• Once a subject has been restrained (even if only with a pair of handcuffs), ADDITIONAL
  employment of a Taser or Stun Baton against the subject is NOT ALLOWED!

  “Cruel and Unusual Punishment” … “Excessive Use of Force” …
  and/or the employment of “TORTURE.”
  Thus, any officer who violates ONE or more of these mandates
  shall subsequently be subject to CRIMINAL CHARGES.

I can almost GUARANTEE that employment of the above-listed
Taser or Stun Device (and forceful-prone-restraint application) protocol mandates would
STOP TASER-, STUN GUN-, AND RESTRAINT-RELATED DEATHS!
