There Be TASER BLOGS Out There!!!
|
Although it isn’t accurately titled (at this posting), here is a link to the FIRST “TASER BLOG” I ever learned of:
Excited Delirium
“The blog has it all: a review of the Criminal Code of Canada regarding 'force' and 'torture',
a philosophical analysis of the meaning of 'force' (verb or noun?), several in-depth technical
discussions regarding the characteristics of the X26 and M26 taser devices and their waveforms,
several close examinations of statements made by Taser sock-puppets, a few minor exposes,
some angry rants at taser abuse, and so much more.”
OH! I absolutely LUV the phrase, “Taser Sock Puppets”!!!
Here is the personal Blog site of a Victim’s Family that provides valuable
(and very RECENT) links to newspaper articles about other Taser-related deaths:
TRUTH … NOT TASERS
“In memory of our brother and son, Robert Bagnell, who died after being
tasered by police in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 23, 2004.”
Besides being an incredibly well organized (and well constructed) Taser Blog site,
Half A Bubble Off Plumb contains a small “Taser BLOGROLL”:
What’s that? It is a “Roll Call” of Links to some OTHER Taser Blog Sites!
Half A Bubble Off Plumb also contains a significantly
International collection of Taser-related articles:
“Worldwide arms dealer Taser International has been busy exporting their lucrative
brand of American craziness. … Today's [January 6, 2008] Guardian Unlimited reports
that the Police Service of Northern Ireland will be issued Tasers this week.”
The above-quoted IRELAND article link is followed by links to multiple Canadian and US articles.
LASTLY, here is Another COLLECTION of TASER BLOGS
This Blog site has very RECENT newspaper articles about Taser-related deaths.
FROM CHAS:
I’ve provided the above FEW links JUST TO GET YOU STARTED!
Many, MANY, other Taser- and Restraint-Related Blog Sites can be found on the Internet.
And, undoubtedly, their number will continue to GROW in 2008!
After all, few if ANY Government or Service “officials” are YET willing to implement
PROTOCOLS VITAL to PREVENTING MORE TASER-RELATED DEATHS!
What are those VITAL PROTOCOLS?
I can almost GUARANTEE that employment of the above-listed
Taser or Stun Device (and forceful-prone-restraint application) protocol mandates would
STOP TASER-, STUN GUN-, AND RESTRAINT-RELATED DEATHS!
At least for the Agency or Service that IMPLEMENTED THEM!
